About This Product
This is a clear vinyl LP pressing of Hex Dealer, the second full-length album from New York electronic punk band Lip Critic. Hex Dealer is a raw and chaotic fusion of iPhone recordings, free VST samplers, synths, and two live drummers, all pushed to their absolute limits. The sound has been likened to a chorus of bass-boosted Windex bottles spraying in unison or a washing machine filled with coins on the spin cycle. Blending classic punk, hardcore, and electronic music, the album delivers 12 frenetic tracks that embody a postmodern pop experience for a genre-less future. Rated 5 stars by NME, which states, "On this wildly imaginative debut, recent NME cover stars Lip Critic prove why they are the band of the moment: bold, energetic, and blisteringly smart."
