About This Product

Respected internationally as a soloist and educator, Robert van Sice designed this series of yarn wound marimba mallets with an exclusive hand-wrapping technique that virtually eliminates the sound of bar contact. Synthetic core models like this one are multi-tonal, while its 17″ maple handle provides excellent feel and control at extended intervals. The M121 is very soft and produces a heavy, dark sound. It's perfect for use in the bass position.
