About This Product
This is a vinyl LP pressing of Tigers Blood by Waxahatchee, the project of singer-songwriter Katie Crutchfield. Born in Alabama and named after Waxahatchee Creek near her childhood home, Crutchfield has spent over a decade honing her craft. Across six critically acclaimed albums, her sound has evolved from lo-fi folk to lush, alt-country, while her voice remains unwavering—honest, poetic, and Southern-tinged. On Tigers Blood, Crutchfield, now sober and settled in Kansas City, showcases her most powerful songwriting to date, offering a raw and authentic reflection on personal revelations. NME rated the album 5 stars, calling it an "Americana stalwart at the top of her game," praising Crutchfield for keeping things intimate while letting her songwriting and performances soar.
