This is a vinyl LP pressing of Porco Rosso: Image Album (Original Soundtrack) by Joe Hisaishi. Porco Rosso is a 1992 Japanese animated adventure-fantasy film written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki. It is based on Hikōtei Jidai("The Age of the Flying Boat"), a three-part 1989 watercolour manga by Miyazaki. This 10-track album was composed by Joe Hisaishi and was originally released by Tokuma Japan Communications on May 25, 1992. As a student of anime composer Takeo Watanabe, Hisaishi's music has been known to explore and incorporate different genres, including minimalist, experimental electronic, Western classical, and Japanese classical.
