This is a vinyl LP pressing of Poly-Current (Blue Note Tone Poet Series) by Elvin Jones. The American jazz drummer originally released his album in June 1970, via Blue Note Records. Produced by Francis Wolff, the album was recorded at Van Gelder Studio in Englewood Cliff, New Jersey and features tenor saxophonists Joe Farrell and George Coleman, baritone saxophonist Pepper Adams, conguero Candido Camero and bassist Wilbur Little.
This stereo Tone Poet Vinyl Edition was produced by Joe Harley, mastered by Kevin Gray (Cohearent Audio) from the original analogue master tapes, pressed on 180g vinyl at Record Technology Inc. (RTI), and packaged in a deluxe tip-on jacket.
