About This Product
This is a double white vinyl LP pressing of "Optical Delusion" by Orbital. Legendary electronic music duo Orbital returns in early 2023 with their new album "Optical Delusion," the Hartnoll brothers' first studio album since 2018's "Monsters Exist." Recorded in Orbital's Brighton studio, "Optical Delusion" features contributions from Sleaford Mods, Penelope Isles, Anna B Savage, The Little Pest, Dina Ipavic, Coppe, and, perhaps most surprisingly, The Medieval Baebes. The album title was inspired by the idea that a human being experiences thoughts and feelings as separate from the rest of humanity—a kind of optical delusion of consciousness. "As soon as I saw ‘optical delusion’ I thought, Oh hey, that’s the album title,” says Paul.
