About This Product
NINO Percussion offers an outstanding collection of musical instruments designed specifically for children. In fact the only real difference between NINO instruments and those made for adults is their smaller size and bright colours. Far from being mere toys, they are the real deal, in tune and musical, and designed for safety, durability, attractiveness and playability. They meet or exceed the requirements of early childhood music education and are ideal for kindergarten and school programs, or for music therapy and other music-making activities. NINO Mini Guiros are made from high quality ABS plastic. The sound is achieved by using the wooden scraper to scratch the different surfaces of the guiro in a rhythmic pattern. These are very useful percussive instruments to have in a classroom band setting, as children can use them to create fun and interesting musical sounds, and the hollow plastic body allows the sound to resonate and project outward.
