In 1974 George Lowden started designing and making his guitars in County Down, where they are still built today. To celebrate 50 years of the Lowden guitar, they are pleased to present a very special collection of limited edition instruments.

The 50th Anniversary collection showcases a stunning array of tonewoods, highlighted by the ultra-rare Bois De Rose in the exclusive 50 Series guitars. Each piece is a masterpiece, with limited numbers crafted to perfection. Special features include a mother of pearl Lowden logo on the headstock, a 50th Anniversary inlay, and a unique 1974 inlay on the heel cap. To celebrate this milestone, Lowden has collaborated with some of the world’s finest luthiers to create these limited mini-collections, capturing the essence of their craftsmanship and legacy.
