Crafted in Japan by FujiGen, the JS2GD is a solid-body electric guitar model released by Ibanez in 2022, proudly bearing the signature of renowned American guitarist Joe Satriani and belonging to the esteemed Joe Satriani series.
The JS2GD showcases an alder body bolted to a maple neck, complete with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard featuring mother-of-pearl dot position markers. Its components include an Edge double locking tremolo bridge, a locking nut, and a set of DiMarzio humbucking pickups: a FRED at the bridge and single-coil-sized Satch Tracks in the middle and neck positions, all accompanied by Gotoh machine heads. Control-wise, it boasts a master volume with a push/pull hi-pass filter, a master tone with a push/pull coil-split for the bridge pickup, and individual toggles for each pickup.
