Introduced by Ibanez for 2020, the AW417CE is an Artwood series acoustic/electric guitar model that features a dreadnought body shape with a Venetian cutaway and a solid Sitka spruce top on flamed okoume back and sides with an open pore finish. The round soundhole has a multi-wood rosette. The nyatoh neck is wider than other AW guitars with a 48mm bone nut and a 20-fret katalox fingerboard with small white dot position markers. Components include a compensated bone saddle in an katalox bridge with black Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a bone nut, and chrome Ibanez tuning machines. Electronics consist of a Ibanez T-bar undersaddle pickup connected to an Ibanez AEQ-TP2 preamp with onboard tuner powered by a 9V battery, and balanced XLR and ¼" outputs.
