The jazz musician originally released his fifth studio album in February 1960, via Atlantic Records. Giant Steps attained gold record status in 2018, having sold 500,000 copies. It is considered one of the most influential jazz albums of all time. This deluxe 2-LP set comes with the original album plus a bonus disc of alternate takes and versions including rehearsal and incomplete tracks, as well as false starts.
