XL Nickel Wound, D'Addario's most popular electric guitar strings, are precision wound with nickel plated steel onto a high carbon hexagonal steel core. The result is strings with long lasting, distinctive bright tone and excellent intonation, highly versatile and ideal for the widest variety of guitars and playing styles. EXL125 is D'Addario's bestselling hybrid set, combining the high strings from an EXL120 (.009) with the low strings from an EXL110 (.046). The result is a set with a strong beefy low end, but freedom to soar and shred on the high strings. It offers the same combination of great tone, flexibility and long life as its siblings in the XL range and like all D'Addario guitar strings, comes in environmentally friendly corrosion resistant packaging for freshness in every set.
